Guns you'd like to see made....

How bout an over under rifle shotgun conbo in 20ga/357mag but.....with both barrels being interchageable in 12 ga and .410 for the shotgun barrel, and on the rifle barrel interchangeable in .45lc, 454 casul, and even .308 and .223!

Rifle based on Ruger's .22 pistol action.

American-made break-action shotgun line, O/U and SxS, trim and well-balanced, with reasonably competitive pricing and parts that last. And no, I shouldn't have to get a 28 Gauge to get a gun that isn't overweight.

All the shotguns that come with porting: same guns without porting.

Winchester 1892. Made in USA, priced to use, not to put behind glass like the latest "Winchester" 1892s.

Model 70 Carbine. THAT was a great little rifle.

Really like some of these ideas, affordable double rifle +1 what about a 5 shot mag fed S&W 500 mag auto loader? Sorta like the 10/22 based 44 magnum.
I like the no.4 mk 1 idea too.

Marlin should make the Camp9 and Camp45 again, with improvements. And a version in 10mm and .40 S&W.
I think SM just hit a home run, business wise. If Marlin wants to make a box car full of money then is certainly a way to do it.

Of course, the gun business is not about money, but telling people "NO!"

People keep saying they want pistol caliber carbines, but the reality is that they don't buy them. I remember talking to a Marlin rep back when they were still making the camp carbine, and he told me they weren't selling well. Ruger has also failed to sell large numbers of their 9mm and 40S&W carbines.

The demand just isn't there.

Oh, man, so many things, so little server memory...
A new build M1895 in 7.62 NATO. With low-profile receiver mounted sight/stripper clip guide combination (not that drilled abomination that some models have).
A G3/CETME chambered in 12 Gauge.
An Ultimax SAW chambered in a bigger caliber, not quite 7.62 NATO, but bigger. Maybe like 6.5 GunTech.
An RFB in 6.5 Grendel and 6.8 SPC.
A new-build straight-pull rifle.
An AK in .500 S&W Magnum.

A Winchester M1895 reintrduction in 7.62x54R. With the stripper clip giude.

A full sized single stack Glock .45 ACP. (same in .45 GAP would be acceptable.)

One of my fantasy guns just entered production, an MP-5 in .22LR....:D

A better looking Glock carbine conversion in .45 ACP (The MECC unit is ungainly, though it works.)

A 100% reliable 50 rd. mag.for the 10/22 that sells for about $30 instead of twice that.

A .45 ACP revolver that didn't need (but could still use) moon clips. S&W did it with a 9mm, why not a .45?

I would definitely go with the prior suggestion of the RK-62 made in the US in semi-auto. I love the looks on the gun.

I'd like an M1 carbine chambered for .357 magnum.

you'd think that would be an easy one to pull off,
with those two cartridges being very close to one
another, size and balistically speaking.

I would like to see a nice 5 shot .44 spl made in the old Colt Detective frame maybe in stainless .

Close, but I'd like a Ruger SP101 in the caliber. At least either would fit the same holster!

You may be right, and the following isn't against you. I'd only like to point out that most all pistol-caliber carbines are but sporting goods, or are ugly. I feel that M1 carbine knock-offs, semi PPSh carbine builds and whatnot have cultural value.

That would be awesome.

I don't understand why the .45 winchester magnum isn't more popular.Personally I will aquire a LAR Grizzly someday.

I wish New England Firearms would beef up there handy rifles for bigger cartridges like say 50 BMG. Then sell it for about 500 dollars.
And Savage to do the same thing with the model 24 and have a wide variety like 22lr over 50 BMG, 22 WMR over 50 BMG,3006 over 50 BMG, 50 BMG over 10 gauge, 4570 over 50 BMG, 300 Win Mag over 50 BMG, and 458 Win over 50 BMG.

Bersa Thunder 9 with a 4" barrel, smaller single side safety/decocker and slide release. Also with night sights and a shorter grip (say 15 rnd capacity).
Basically their version of the Walther P88 Compact but with the frame mounted safety/decocker.

Here's another vote for a Mini-14 with a heavier barrel and good leaf sights. But it needs to take AR mags.

A 22mag auto pistol, that was the size of a pf-9, and held 10 round minium

I'd like to see a company formed to produce all the "old guns" that have gone out of production. If the companies that produce them are out of business or dumping a particular model, they shouldn't mind collectors or "old horses" getting some 'new shoes' for their favorite hobby.

Expired patents, etc. could make some of the work easy to get done without exceptional cost, and it would certainly have a niche market for firearms collectors... plus it would provide a lot of parts for guns that just need "fixin".

Nifty little guns like the Beretta 70S come to mind, and some of the guns that were sold by Herter's when they were in business doing mail order firearms. I've still got a .44 that needs a new barrel from Herter's, but I can't even get a reply from the companies that manufactured them. That particular gun has a good barrel, but the extractor mount is broken, and there's no way to mount the extractor on it (single six).

If I can ever get it fixed, I'd like to get it hard chromed, just for a showpiece.
