An AK made in 6.8mm caliber (really anything, SPC, 7.62x39mm necked down, whatever) with a new sight block and a heavy barrel.
I agree. Something light and small like an M1 carbine, with traditional looks, reasonable accuracy, and that used common ammo and mags would be great. An M1 Carbine type rifle, chambered in 5.56 that takes AR mags
While it doesn't come in all of those calibers, Remington makes a double rifle in .30-06 and 28ksi .45-70. ~900 It's the SPR-22.I'd like a rugged, maybe even rough looking, double rifle in handy calibers like, 30-30, 223, 7.62x39, 308, 243, 270, 30-06...you get the picture.
1: A reproduction MG42 that fires belt fed .22lr! It would probably have to use a cloth belt but disentegrating links would be great!
2: A select-fire carbine chambered in 357mag and capable of working reliably with .38spl.
And my ultimate goal: A large semi-automatic rifle firing 30mm DU ammo from the A-10 warthog. It would probably need some type of hydraulic or pneumatic piston system to absorb the recoil but that would be one hell of a powerful rifle.
On a side note would the 30mm depleted uranium AP ammo be legal for civilian use? As long as its not a handgun round AP is legal correct? or would the depleted uranium make them illegal somehow?
Check out Deer Hunter's Remington 1740:i think there is a double barrelled pump that was made in england, heard of it on tfl but never seen one
It would have to be registered as a destructive device due to ridiculous bore size.
You mean like Remington commercializing our own Deer Hunter's 1740?camoman33935 said:3) A double barrel pump action 12ga.
Marlin should make the Camp9 and Camp45 again, with improvements. And a version in 10mm and .40 S&W.
