Handgun Pictures

My favorite shooting revolver. I had two of them, one scoped (2x Leopold) and one iron sighted. Shot thousands of rounds through them. The
8 3/8 inchers were great to shoot. Loved shooting 'em !

How about a Kahr PM9 with CT Red Dot. One of the compacts that started it all.
This was one of the first issues.
It went back to the Factory at least once for a total rebuild before it was able to be a trusted carry.
That's what you get for being an early adopter. This and a S&W 642 were my early carries.

This S&W Compact Gen One started its life as a .40. I decided to put a 9mm barrel and magazines into it. Night sites, Storm Lake stainless match grade. Runs well and is very accurate. XGrip mage extension cover, Viridian C5 Green Laser and LED light. Extended Magazine. Not so compact any longer. It mostly hangs around the house.

Here is a 20 year old S&W 642. These can be a bit of a handful for recoil sensitive persons. To ameliorate that:
Crimson Trace Red Laser model 305, larger grip, pocket to help cushion the blow.
Buffalo Bore Standard .38 special instead of Plus P.

Standard Pressure Short Barrel Low Flash Heavy .38 Special Ammo
158 gr. Soft Lead SWC-HC (850 fps/M.E. 253 ft. lbs.)
20 Round Box
1. It won't hurt older/fragile/alloy revolvers. (Non +P)
2. Is effective as a "fight stopper" through the use of proper bullets.
3. Is more powerful than typical/standard, weak 38SPL ammo.
4. Generate much less recoil than our +P 38SPL ammo.
5. Is flash suppressed.

Makes a great IWB or OWB carry.

I’m a makarov fan- I like how the red Bakelite grips look. Not so fond of how they feel shooting. FAB defense makes a great grip to modernize it in desert tan, green, or black.
I grabbed some tan ones, and a bottle of Wine RIT… 10 minutes in a lightly boiling mixture of dye and water. Keeps the reddish nostalgia going IMO. BAC8DD6B-45EE-45BF-B7A9-843802CF06C2.jpeg

Grips match the hammer. Nice

The humble beginnings of my collection. The top one is an inherited Rossi 971 .357, the bottom is an inherited Rossi M68 .38 and the middle is my first handgun purchase a S&W 617 .22LR which I've been using as a trainer and hence why it's the only one that is dirty.
