if a person knows (or has reason to know) they are prohibited, then, they do have a duty to inform, correct?
This even if it requires admitting to having ex/exes with RO/TRO; serial 'dating' and the like.
If a person knows that they are prohibited from owning guns, the law doesn't require that they inform others in the general public (including boyfrieds/girlfriends) of that fact. (Generally, depending on the crime or situation.) But it does require that they do not purchase, or accept a gift of, or even TOUCH a firearm.
