Hello everyone!

My 21st birthday was Jan 5th, and after saving up all summer at my job... I bought my dream gun. A Kimber Pro CDP :)

So I have a question. What is a good magazine for this gun? I'd prefer a 7-round. Now this is an aluminum frame, so I'm worried about the follower gouging the feed ramp. I have heard good things about Wilson magazines with the plastic follower. Anyone have any personal experience? Are they as reliable as the split metal followers with the dimple?

Thanks!
Tristan

I've got a Kimber Pro Carry II and it runs just fine with the Wilson 47D (8 round).

I'm sure someone else who has put more than a couple hundred rounds thru one will chime in, but I love mine!

Happy B'day & congrats! Most people go inexpensive for their first gun...where you gonna go from there???
I would go w/ Wilson mags ;)

Hello, Happy B-day

This post brought a big smile to my face. I am happy for you. Nice pistol!!:D
Enjoy it. Soon you'll have more than you can count.
BTW-You might be working all next summer to feed that 45 :neener:

Actually this gun cost me $100 more than it should have...

$100 for dinner to smooth things over with the girlfriend for spending so much on a gun

And speaking of feeding... any known sources for cheap practice (ball) ammo?

Wal-Mart usually has Blazer Brass for pretty reasonable prices. Sorry I don't the exact price; I'm currently in the Middle East working for Uncle Sam.
