Have you ever been asked to leave due to OC/CC?

I CC and have never been asked to leave any establishment.

On a somewhat related note, I have CC'd in certain retail stores that display "No weapons allowed" signs, as they weren't the proper signs required by Minnesota law. If I had been asked to leave, I would have left and locked up the firearm in the car.

I had a Huntington Bank branch manager ask me to leave once. She was an hysterical anti-gunner about it to. Tried to claim it was against federal law for me to carry there because they were a federally insured bank.

I told her that I knew for a fact that Huntington Bank's policy was to allow their customers to be armed, that she had not posted the bank as no guns, I was going to finish my transaction, and then she would hear from corporate.

Huntington Bank's corporate security subsequently called her and informed her she was wrong and I had requested an apology. My next visit to that branch, she apologized.

The Mall at Sierra Vista, AZ. I was dressed not slobbish and on my way to the range. Not a common habit for me, but I was just planning to run in and find a Hallmark store to get a card. Didn't conceal because it was well over 100 degrees on a summer afternoon, it was legal, and I figured being clean cut and in shape I looked like a relatively law-abiding dude not worth the time to hassle for the Man (hell, at work I amthe man).

Made it a few steps in the door when the security guard approached and asked if I was a cop. I told him I wasn't. He said I'd have to leave it in the car. I didn't argue, but told him I'd do my shopping elsewhere and went on my merry. There were no visible signs on the door I came and went from.

That mall is kinda small to be kicking out customers. :) Every mall I went to in Tucson was posted, so I didn't go back. Resteraunts, banks, et., if they post, I don't go.

Well before the concealed carry movement, I was asked to leave a "Pantry" convenience store for open carrying a S&W model 10 in a standard holster. I knew the clerk on duty, who was very happy to have me around, as it was late on a Friday night. However when her district manager came in, he just about flipped out and told her to tell me to leave. I was playing pinball at the time (yes, it was that long ago- before video games) and I asked if I could finish the game- the district manager told her again to tell me I had to leave right now. So I did, trying to be polite and decent about it. I wish i could tell you I wrote a letter, but I was too young to be politically active back then.

The Pantry chain has since gone out of business in our area, and had a huge problem with robberies. I wonder if they ever got the connection?

Are you sure it wasn't a 'coffee shirt'?

Might have been. I didn't look for stains. I did notice the gun was a Beretta 92F or the Taurus look alike. The point about the shirt is that the gun was totally exposed with no attempt to conceal such as you might see a police officer wear on duty.

I OC frequently in Virginia. Was asked to leave a restaurant once because another customer complained as my family and I sat down for dinner. I might go back there again after July 1st when it becomes legal to CC in an establishment that serves alcohol on-premises (ABC ON).
