Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Saved this 1999 P245... from not being shot on a regular basis. Picked it up this weekend; after replacing the recoil spring, thorough cleaning/lubrication/buffing up the feed ramp my best Friend insisted I get it out to the range for testing :)

Ran some ball ammo through it first for functionality, then used my powder coated LSWC 200gr reloads @15yds. All told I put a little over 100 rounds through it so far...

I have some G10 Piranha Solid Black grips & 8 round extension floor plates inbound. I find this fits very well in my P225 IWB holster so I'm set there

I got these Caldwell E-MAX low profile electronic earmuffs for my home defense setup. Lots cheaper than buying a suppressor, and I also didn't want that added length on the rifle.

I was impressed with how well they work, and that I still have a sense of sound direction with them on. It only takes a second to pop them on before picking up the gun... and the advantages are worth it.

A neighbor told me his brother in law passed away a couple of years ago and he had some reloading stuff his wife wanted to get rid of. I got a 100 round bag of new 45colt brass and a box of 240 gr EXP bullets, 2 50 round bags of Win 30-06 and a 50 round bag of Rem 30-06 brass for $60.

Got several boxes Freedom Munitions .357 Mag today ordered online from Midway so now I can go shoot my Henry Big Boy on my next range trip; hopefully tomorrow.

Took delivery yesterday on a Protektor rabbit ear rear bag. That, along with a Harris bipod will start my long-range interest with my Savage 110. Just starting, so the Sinclair rest is far in the future. Also picked up 3 boxes of #1 buck the day before.

Nothing exciting, had a couple of Kimber Compact 1911 type .45 ACP magazines show up today. Maybe tomorrow get to the range and make sure they work as to form, fit and function.

168 lbs of lead cable sheath that had been stripped off and melted into "pots" - for 50¢ / lb. From the local scrapper, which is amazing because I live in a town of 300, 3hr from the nearest metropolitan area (Boise, ID).

Smelted it down and cast it into 1 lb ingots. The pots were very dirty, so there was a lot of slag. Only ended up with 156 ingots and they weren't quite a full pound (~9 - 9 1/2 lb).

Thats a good price and a good days work!

Several years ago I bought a heavy duty cart from a lumber company that went out of business. I built a 2'X4'X12" wooden box that sits on it that holds my smelting stuff. Once I unload my burner and pot I use scrap pieces of plywood layed on it as a landing zone for my ingots. Your set-up reminded me but mine is not quite as spread out.
