I have been looking for a bolt action in .223Rem. and after an exhaustive search and reading reviews decided on the Ruger American Predator Package. This package has the updated magazine (10 round Magpul) and a Vortex Crossfire II 4x12x44 scope. I am really anxious to get out to the range with it to see if the accuracy is what has been stated in the reviews. It has a very rigid polymer stock that is free floated to the barrel, which supposedly aids in the guns accuracy. It has a medium heavy barrel threaded for a suppressor.
I have several other Ruger guns, both rifles and revolvers and they are all extremely well made and shoot very accurately.

I don't know how good these work, but the reviews are promising. It will make shooting the AR-15 alot cheaper, and that's always a win in my book.

Mine works fine. Get some carbon buildup but shoot some 556 through it and it blows it out

The first couple of times I used mine I needed a drift to seat it and pin the upper on the lower, now that it's pretty oily and goes in and out with a good yank.
