I don't know if my Google-fu is out or what. I'm looking to buy another gun come February of 2014. This year, 2013 is the first year I haven't bought a gun and it just seems strange to me. Granted I bartered for an almost new Ruger SR9 but that was barter.

I already own a Ruger SRH .454, I've got a Ruger Redhawk 7.5" and 4", I own a 6" Ruger GP100, SP101s in 3 1/16 and 2.25. And a Sig 220 and 228, plus more than a few Glocks. AndI won't get into S&Ws I still own. So I want something unusual and magnums are my thing even if it's the low powered .357. My first gun was a Ruger Security Six 4" in .357 magnum and I've been hooked since.

I have enough primers, brass, powder, and lead projectiles to load up a thousand rounds. Not to mention my horde of .357 magnum. Any time I can order it online for less than $24.00 a box I buy a thousand rounds. Any time I'm at Walmart and can buy a box or two of the Federal .357 JSP I buy it (at least one box every two weeks on average). So .357 magnum is my regular shooter.

So there is the Rhino, in particular 200d snub nose model. I've held one, pulled the trigger dry-fire and it points well for me. The problem is I can't find any chrono info on it. I don't want to buy a gun that can't harness the velocity of the .357 magnum caliber. S&W in my opinion fail in that department based on what others have told me when they've chrono'ed theirs and then the many pages I've seen on the internet. If I can't hit at least 1200 fps with a Remington SJHP 125 grain factory load then there isn't much point in buying one.

The gun would be mostly a range toy but still, it should harness the velocity of the .357 magnum. One reason in addition I want it is that the barrel is low on the gun so I'm wondering if gas cutting will be an issue with 125 grain rounds meant to travel at 1400+ fps out of a four inch barrel (yes the one I want is a snub nose). Also the flip is supposed to be greatly reduced because of the design. If anyone knows of any websites listing chrono info I'd appreciate it.

I'm on the hunt, and I want to hunt for the Rhino lol.
