Umm...It means made in the USA. The HK is not.
Umm .... not so fast, oh, MaterDei. Let's take the awesome combat pistol, the HK45, for example. Made by Hechler and Koch, right? Right.
Well, not so fast, oh wise one. Guess who designed this wonderful gun? Larry Vickers - an American. An American Special Ops veteran with more than 20 years service in the ....... you guessed it, AMERICAN military. Delta Force to be exact - I would think that his AMERICAN know-how and experience would go a long way to developing an effective combat weapon. Say, like the HK45.
Not enough? Hmmm, well lets look at where they are being made. Yes, some are, indeed made in Deutschland, but some are also being made by Wilcox Industries in
Newington, New Hampshire. They haven't seceded from the Union yet, have they? Last I checked they were still in the United States. I bet their employees are ........ American too!
So, I say again, what does Made in the USA mean anymore? World economy? Hey, I just checked and the slide on my Springfield Armory 1911 says, Made in Brazil. Hmmmmm ........
