I have a Hoppe's gun cleaning kit that I bought years ago. A few months ago, I noticed that I was missing the adapter that connects the rod with the handle to the pistol cleaning accessories (see the red circle in the picture).
I sent an e-mail to Hoppe's asking to purchase a replacement part, but the company simply informed me that I could find the part on Amazon. I tried buying one on there, but it didn't fit. After, I asked Hoppe's to send me a link to the proper part, but I did not receive a response.
The kit works fine, and I'd prefer not to purchase an entirely new rod instead of just buying the **** seventy-five cent part. My handguns are becoming fairly filthy. Can anyone tell me specifically what this part is or provide me with a link to it? I will be eternally grateful.
