Help with some sights?

Hey everyone, I just picked up my 98 mauser that was re chambered to 30/06. I had XS ghost ring aperture fitted to the back, but they left my front sight the same. Here's my dilemma, at 100 yards I got the vertical dead on but impact was way right. I adjusted rear sight all the way left, but I'm still 2 -3 " right. My front sight is dovetailed so I can move it some too. My question is do I move my front sight some to the right? Or left? I was thinking to the right because it is opposite of the rear sight movement but I could be wrong. I've never had to drift front sight on any of my rifles before, so any help would be appreciated. Move the front sight in the opposite direction of the way you want the impact to move, so move it right
