Here is the current tally of all the worst gun threads

I went and researched all the worst gun threads from TFL and THR

All these guns mentioned only amount to anecdotal evidence at best.

I'm listing the winners/ loser by number of negative hits by manufacturer then the naming the specific gun that received the worst mentions.

Keep in mind that if Ruger gets more bad calls than Keltec remember Ruger sells 10 times what keltec does.

Ok here goes

Ruger 16 Mini 14 racked up the most entries.

Smith and Wesson 14 The Sigma had the most mentions.

I owned a Rem 597 for a while. Didn't like it and when I sold it I felt like I broke a cardinal rule of being a "gun nut": never sell a firearm.

I think I noted mine as a 547 - but it was a 597 - I was trying to obliterate it from my memory...

I own a Marlin semi auto .22 (model number 795SS). It works fine, but it's not the most accurate thing in the world - I got it for 90 bucks, so I couldn't complain.

The Remington 597 has a weird-looking stock IMHO.
