Fusil Robust

Hi Can anyone help with this question?

I have an old French shotgun, it is a Fusil Robust Brevete s/s. 12g, Choke & Demi Choke Pression 850 kilo also showing on the stock housing is PT Francaise D'arm ET Cycles De St Etienne.

this gun also has a retractable shoulder strap that vanishes into the gun Butt.
it is in good condition & has been used recently. there are a few scratches on the timber stock.

I do believe the company who made this gun did also make cycles at one time.

Does anyone know what it would be valued at,or of any collectors of this type of gun? or any further history of this make.

Thanks for your help.

Wrong thread. not a good way to start off a first post.

The last part was really just a joke. And I know that you are technically allowed to own one, but they have to interview you and decide you have a good enough reason to have one. As I heard, they are very unlikely to decide you need one. Saying you live in a shady area and want one to protect your home or that your business got robbed at gun point several times is not really good enough reason for them.

there are two types of license- premises residence license and a special carry license. it's the special carry (allowing you to carry concealed) that they don't issue unless you can prove you're in danger, but the premises license is supposed to be available to basically anyone who's not a felon or mentally ill. they put a clause in the requirements that says you have to be "of good moral character" and they do interview you, but i haven't heard of anyone getting denied for no reason as long as you jump through their hoops.

that being said, i put in my application almost two months ago and i'm still waiting for my interview. they said it takes 2-3 months to get the interview and then another 2-3 to get approval, so no worries at this point, but i will be back here fuming if i get denied for some reason. the clerk who took my application said there shouldn't be a problem.

We should probably make sure Ohio folks note that; a magazine over 30-rounds is perfectly legal for .22's.
So all we 10/22 and Tec-22 owners can blast off 50-round mags...and Calico owners can rip 100 rounds of semi-auto without fear of breaking the law.
Prior to March 14, 2007, magazine capacity used to vary from city to city, as did many gun ordinances.
(E) “Automatic firearm” means any firearm designed or specially adapted to fire a succession of cartridges with a single function of the trigger. “Automatic firearm” also means any semi-automatic firearm designed or specially adapted to fire more than thirty-one cartridges without reloading, other than a firearm chambering only .22 caliber short, long, or long-rifle cartridges.
