For me it would be $300 dollars spent on something that would be impossible for me to enjoy.

i can get the 45acp high point carbine hear in Omaha for $309.00
so yes its out.

Just read someone on the hipoint forum picked one up for $274 OTD. At that price I would probably buy too.

+1 on that. I paid $265 OTD for my .40/G22 mag Sub2k 3 years ago. So $275ish for a .45 seems reasonable when you consider used marlin camp .45's and new Beretta CX4 storms are double and triple the price of a Hi point.

They have then listed (but out) at BudsGunShop.com for ~$265. Guess I'll be ordering soon...

Sweet baby jesus, its finally out. Im pretty sure that they've been promising this for at least 7 years if not more.

I wonder what took them so long???

Are their any carbines out there that shoot the .45 ACP round? The only one that comes to mind is the semi auto, Thompson Machine Gun style.

I wanted one, but it's a bit more than I wanted to pay. I'll have to ponder.

I love all the "Sent From" that people are adding.
Looks like people have a sense of humor, but no one has commented on it yet.

I've heard nothing of the 4595 being released today.

If the 45ACP is under $300 it should sell, pushing $350+ it won't. Maybe if it was made to accept extended round mags maybe it would. Everyone is waiting for reports on how it performs. Pretty much all the carbines are pistols made into a carbine. When it first came out in the mid to late 90's, the first generation fugly ones, did sell quite well(I paid $125 OTD). I like the new tactical stock looks but not for double what I paid for my first gen 9mm. I may just leave it the way it is. I have other projects that are a higher priority. I want a new KVAR stock on my MAK 90 and maybe a Draco AK. After that I don't really need any more weapons, just more ammo! I want to retire within the next 5 years or so I need to start stashing as much money away as possible.

I'm back to work teaching high school, after a year unemployed. It's decent pay but it really sucks dealing with high school kids but I have too many years invested towards my retirement pension. I moved into my RV, 6 months ago because I didn't know for sure I'd find a job. I'm back living in the forests of East Texas in Huntsville, which beats the hell out of the Austin metro area. My cost of living is under $600 a month, so I should be able to put a decent amount of cash away for the next 3+ years but living in an RV has it's down side. If I wasn't single it would not work, especially saving any money!Women and wives tend to make money dissapear very fast!!

I now have a place to shoot my weapons and fish.
