Great, thank you all for the advise. Will try.
Also try a trick I learned at my range. Besides the mags being crap (my ONLY complaint about my 4095) another shooter with the 4595 told me to press down on the base after loading each cartridge in the mag. It worked. I haven't had issues with them the last few times Iv'e fired them.

Looks like figure out why my new carbine not loading new magazines. Look at the picture. I know what it the problem now but not sure how to fix it. It is original Hi-Pont magazine 20210915_181818.jpg

My 9 mm Hi-Point mags have a black metal follower. Looks like yours is red plastic. It also looks like your follower doesn't rise up as far into the feed lips. But I don't know if that's your problem or whether that's just a change in design and production.

It has a black metal follower. What is look like red it is bullet. Problem is it hard to take bullet out of mag even when it not loaded to rifle.

OK, looking more closely now at your pic, I can see that it's the bullet tip of a round. It's not in the proper position to be picked up by the block and fed into the chamber. Most likely the problem is feed lips spacing, but if you're not real familiar with magazine operation it's probably not something you want to dick around with yourself. See if you can get the mag replaced under warranty, or if not, just buy another.

Here, I took a quick pic of what it's supposed to look like (using snap caps):

I have 4 new mag with same problem. All manufactured by Hi Point. All have nose dive problem. I went on Hi Point website and will call tech support to see if they can replace magazines. I did some tweaking on lips front end, but it still have same issue and when loading it not smooth either. Some bullet loading fine, another I have to push hard down.

Each of the calibers have a different color follower. The 4095 have a green follower. and try pressing down the but end after each round is loaded. I haven't had any issues with mine since I was shown that by another Hi point owner. There is also a few You tube videos showing a fix that I haven't bothered doing since the trick I was shown works.

Called Hi Pont customer service. They asked to send magazines. Sent out today . Waiting for the result. Will update.

Another reason I hate the jacked up market. I once bought a 995 for $75. SOld it for profit soon after, but now wish I kept it so I could make more LOL. Also had a S2K that I sold for a profit. Now it seems a new one at local shops is around $500. PASS

Received my magazines back from Hi-Point last week. Went today on range. Still have same issue, not loading first round. Not sure what they did to magazines but no improvement at all. When round loads rifle working fine, good group for 75. Longest distains my range have. But definitely not home defense weapon. Planning to call Hi Point again

I started loading all 3 mags and pushing down on the rear each shell and have had zero problems. Even when using hand held spring loader and doing it every 3rd shell I have had no problems since. Someone will come up with an aftermarket or HiPoint will get it together and get the problem fixed. I even occasionally have an issue with one of my 10 Glock mags from time to time but not like these.
