Hi Power grips

"Real" High power grips are made out of French Walnut and cost a lot more than those what ever they are.

I doubt anyone here has tried those particular grips on a Hi Power. I'd say give it a try. Spegel grips look a lot better and have a reputation for being incredibly thin though.

I personally put a set of Hogue Gonalco Alves grips on mine. Probably not the thinest in the world but significantly moreso than the original plastic grips that were on it, and fairly reasonable (I think I paid $50 for them).

Depends on what year your HP is . If you want a traditional look or a if it is newer a more modern look.

When I bought some original French Walnut grips from Brownells they were sold individual left or right side. They were original Browning grips and were about $35 a piece! They are very dark walnut. I never put them on the gun as they are so nice. I refinished the pair that is on them. I also have BHP Tactical which has wrap around Pachmyers which were standard, So it all depends on the gun and what look you want,

I see they have some now that look like a pair for much less.

The BHP is a slim design to begin with so there is not much bulk to the grips anyway. Kinda like 1911 grip panels.

Airsoft websites sell toys and parts for toys. Ergo, on the other hand, makes aftermarket stuff for real firearms. http://ergogrips.net/products/handgun-grips.html

That's the origin of this question. Ergo used to make real grips for real Hi Powers, I owned a pair and liked them. I was hoping someone might know if the ones I linked to were actual Ergo products as advertised.

Mine is an FM with the flat black finish and wrap around finger groove grips which add too much bulk for my taste. If it were a high polish blue I would go with the walnut or other wood to compliment the finish but a simple, thin black grip works for this one.

This is a picture of the old Ergo grips I had on a FEG clone, fit the same as on an FN Hi Power. Not the prettiest for sure but extremely thin.

VAgunner - shoot me a PM about those extra Navidrex grips.

I disagree with this statement. The Herretts are much thicker than the Naviderix or even Spegels. They have swell to them.

There is nothing as thick as the factory wood grips but there is a difference in the hand between different makers.

Read up on their return policy order them and try them out.
I was going to take the chance on these, but they don't allow returns on accessories, which grips fall under. That, coupled with a company based in Hong Kong and $20 in added shipping definitely don't make it worth the risk.

For some really great looking Hi-Power grips I would check out Craig Spegel and those by Esmeralda.

I have two HPs. One is wearing Hogue (wood) grips. The other a set of Spegels. The Spegel are thinner than the Hogue. Both are thinner than factory.
