when asking about aftermarket detatchable mags for the sks, i always see people remark about how unreliable aftermarket mags for the sks are. USA, Cobray, and others are guilty of unreliability, and people always recommend using a 20 round fixed for higher capacity, or to stick with the 10 round stock, and bulk up on stripper clips.. however, i came across some DC/HiTech detatchable magazines. they have two versions, one of which has a duckbill built into it, and another version has a little adapter that allows the duckbill to be a fixed part of your rifle, and mags can be carried easier because of the lack of the duckbill. the construction of these mags LOOK impressive, as it does not look like flimsy sheetmetal that usa mags are made of, and looks much better than those cheap plastic cobray mags. however, i have no experience with them, and was wondering if anyone here did. BTW... there seems to be a built in market for aftermarket mags for sks. if a high quality manufacture were to produce mags for the sks, i know i would get a couple(dozen). wilson, novak, act, mecgar, whoever. however, would production of 11+ capacity mags somehow break the law? just curious is all... thanks.
to clarify, i want to know if anyone has had experience with HiTech/DC mags, and feel free to express your thoughts on a high quality after market sks magazine.
