I'm not impressed with the HK416. I would take the FN-SCAR over it. The HK416 is more of an improved-M4A1 carbine whereas the FN-SCAR is new and designed from scratch.

It's an HK, you know it's gonna be expensive.

The sports car analogy is lame...

This isn't Corvette vs Ferrari....

This is more like Corvette and Corvette with spinning hubcaps.

The HK isnt some peice of engineering nirvana. The fit and finish isnt any better than any other AR style rifle. I have seen one up close... the parkerizing looks amazingly alike other parkerizing.... It wasn't hand rubbed with a live kitten.

So, I can buy 3 regular ARs and get the bullet down range and on target for the same price as 1 HK that isnt any better.

Tough decision.
