Well, I have both - the Glock first, and as of today, the HK.

Side by side, they are noticeably different, although they are both polymer guns.

The USP seems smaller and heavier, while the Glock 19 comes across as slightly bigger and lighter.

That HK is a solid gun! I still like my Glock however, because although it feels less substantial, it is still a fine combat pistol. I have heard the HK 9mm can take +P+ loads (and I don't doubt it), but does anyone know if the Glock can, too?

As seen on page 21 of your USPc Operator's Manual "All USP pistols are approved for use w/ +p and +P+ ammunition." That should settle that ;)
As for the Glock...I don't have a owner's manual handy so I can't say for sure :(
