This is TheHighRoad sir. Requirements understood to be prerequisite include respect and researching your delusions of granduer. There are people here (I am not among them) who have seen and done things that the rest of us cannot comprehend in defense of those less strong. We would all be wise to learn from them.
Your all too quick dismissal of sm ranks you, in my mind at least, with the likes of Gecko45. Pull your pants up, straighten your ball cap, drop your "9" & try to determine if your Grandmother would be proud of your next words before you speak / type them.
If you were mine, I'd turn you over my knee for that outburst. If my mother were still alive and you were mine, My arse would now be sore for allowing my child to be so ridiculous, especially in public.

My Gawd! A folding wire stock on a 12 gauge.
It makes my shoulder ache just lookin' at it.
I really hope it's easier to shoot than it looks.

You know, aside from the stock, which gives me the willies at the thought of shooting 3" shells, it looks like you have the rest set up rather nicely.

Tried to post a picture but failed. I have a Mossberg 500 12 ga 20" Persuader with pistol grips on both ends, ported barrel and receiver side saddle. I keep one BB and 7 slugs loaded at all times. My backup is a XD40 sub compact. I thought the porting would reduce the recoil but if it does I can't notice it. The porting did reduce barrel rise though.

How do you like that sling? I had one that looks exactly the same as yours, that I intended to use to carry extra shells for HD. Problem was, even with the sling strap adjusted to its maximum length, I couldn't really shoot the shotgun with the sling on. Too tight, and made it slow and awkward to get my shoulder to the stock (my stock doesn't fold over like yours does, however).
Is there maybe something I'm doing wrong with the sling? Or is it just better for firing it in a PGO fashion?

I well used Winchester 1300 and a Winchester SX2 Practical MKII (made in Belgium by FN) that is taking the bulk of the shells these days... either one will work for Home Defense...

OP I just use a bone stock Remington 870 for home defense, so I'm not gonna bother with a picture.

I like to stay in the 870 line, but have a mossy just to add flavor.
870 magnum, super magnum, police magnum, and a marine magnum.
They don't really do me any good for "home defense" as they stay in the safe. Hy handguns are what I use for home defense, much easier to manuver with, hold more firepower, and it is what I train with.
