Aimo that may be the same stuff they put windshields in with. If it is its not as easy as caulking to install but it has great weather resistance and drys Hard! I have questions for you. As I said earlier I put Shatter Guard in our facility. They insist on using their trained contractors to satisfy the
warranty. It goes on about like a decal from what I could see.
They are pricey. Our purpose was to deter someone from getting in even if he shot a few holes in it. Work place violence coming from the outside was our concern. The people were very quick, polite people but they were just the installers. Our local people in my opinion could have done the work. And my local people told me the barrier stuff is mostly the same just different mill thickness.
What is this barrier film made of. I use all types of film in our business but I don't know the composition of your stuff. Buying films, I know that one mill will have many customers and many of the competing film companies get the same stuff, just call it something different. They also make specialized films with less volume. But only run it once a quarter or so. Can you say how you guys handle that and what the film is called?
I know some of this may be a corporate secret but if you could email me these answers I'd appreciate it.
