found an m4 and body armour somebody had dumped in a dumpster at basra air station obviously planning to come back for it later
Captain was happy to see us
found a very flash .45 that some "special type" had dropped outside his unmarked g wagon. breakfast next morning very red faced "commando"
once found a very expensive M14 with all the gucci bits attached sitting on the 600m point had been there since Sunday lunch time
very cool gun got shot a lot and didn't get cleaned owner turned up very very red faced

mind you once lost a 9 mm browning
it was in a shoulder holster I was wearing at the time
my mate though it was so funny to help me look for the "lost pistol"
as did various NCO's and officers. I think somebody sent a runner ahead to warn people
didn't cotton on for 3 hours actually marched in to tell the CO
