Well, my bride ordered me a Hornady Auto Charge for Christmas. I thought I had seen a topic in here on it but the search feature for Tapatalk isn't very good so I couldn't find it.

My main questions are, does anyone have any tips, tricks or anything someone needs to know about these?

I mainly load rifle but I also load pistol for my parents and myself. Now I just have to decide if I want to give my wife her gift early so I can get my gift early. Lol :D

I load on a SS, so I'm hoping this will speed up the process a bit, as I weigh every charge by hand right now. Been doing this for coming up on 2 years now.

While I can't help you with any experience I can suggest that you contact Hornady; they have been real good in answering my questions. I also recommend that you read the User Guide first (if you don't have it yet you should be able to download from Hornady).

Wow, props to you for weighing every charge. Its definitely going to be much more enjoyable now. Have you checked out the numerous you tube videos. I was on you tube watching people reload while deciding which press to get. Report back your opinion on Auto dispenser.

I didn't even think about checking out You tube videos.

I'll definitely have to write a review when I actually get it out of the box....when my wife gives it too me. Lol

Loaded up a few .223 on my Hornady LNL tonight and used the hornady powder measure

Works great with Win 231 and 748 generally within a couple grains either way.

I load 9mm, 45 auto and 223 on the progressive and I have three powder measure bases adjusted for each cartridge

Just drop in the right powder bushing and slide the measure in and your powder measure change is that fast

I also have multiple meters and keep one set up for each cartridge in the die box

Extremely simple once you figure it out.
