Like many I have Hornady Products on the reloading bench. Over the winter I had a couple break downs. Not on new stuff, but stuff I have had for a while. The first one was my Auto Charge. Loaded a bunch of ammo with this thing. Some troubleshooting with a amp meter determined that the power supply wasn't putting out any power.
Then when I was processing some new 300 Win Mag Brass, my case prep trio made some noise and then stopped working right. The motor was running but it wasn't spinning. A couple screws later I saw that the gears were broken.
The next day after work I called. "Could I purchase a power supply for my Auto Charge?" I said it is well out of warranty. I was asked for my address that a new one would be shipped. And sure enough a week later a new one arrived.
The second problem was "Could I purchase replacement parts for my Trio?" What parts "The gears". The response we don't sell those because people don't install the correctly. But if you send it to us we will fix it for you for free. I was given an RMA and sure enough a week an a half later it was back all fixed.
Here is a picture of it all fixed with my wooden modification done to the bottom to make it sit higher off the bench and a hole for storing it above when not in use. You don't get service like this everywhere.
