Does anyone know where to get some other than Midwayusa? I hate their shipping charges. I need two parts and the total is $15, but after shipping $8.47, and another $3 fee for spending less than $25, I'm at almost $30 for a $15 part!!

Another source would be appreciated.

Call Hornady you'll probably get them for free. I busted an expander ball when I first got into reloading. I contacted Hornady told them it was my fault, the rep verified my address and told me the parts were on there way. That same day I got a confirmation email and he had sent extra parts on top of what I was needing replaced for free.

Call Hornady, you won't be sorry.

I can only add to call hornady. I really like their automated answering service. I will admit that I actually call to see what they changed it to.

I called Hornady today, and wow! I called during lunch so i had to wait on hold for about 45min, but I didn't mind because i was informed of my place in line about every two minutes. It got to be like a game with the others in my office (speaker phone). Oh you are up to 8, and so on. The Tech guy was real cool and gave me some part numbers i needed. Then i asked where i could get these, he said "i'll transfer you to sales" THinking i lost out, i gave them all my information and asked how much I owed them. They just said, I'll just put this as warranty and ship it out today. It was really nice. My parts were probibly $15 total, and i live the next state over, but it was really cool. It made my day.

Thanks for suggesting it.

I can honestly say that if all American companies offered the same level of customer service that Hornady does, our country would be a far different place. They are honest and truly care about the work they do.

Hornady has great customer service! I agree I wish all American companies kept their support in the U.S. and were as good as them!

Sure wish computer companies would use Hornady's example. Instead when I call HP for support I get some guy in India that claims his name is "Bob" and can barely speak English!!!

That is one thing that is truly unique about reloading. There are many companies that will do this. Redding, RCBS, Lee and Hornady from personal experience. Dillion's customer service is renowned, although I have not used it personally.

I personally found dillons customer service reps to be condescending and a little bit annoyed. Hornady's reps are awesome and helpful. Though the result is the same, the trip is rougher through dillon.

Another kudos here for Hornady service!

And, I have to agree with Longdayjake on the subject of Dillon reps. I exchanged a few emails with one prior to placing an order for two die sets, and his condescending attitude was the reason I did not buy from them.

If you listen to the Hornady automated voice message it's hillarious.

"For those telepahtic customers among us or those who have taken careful notes in the past dialing an extension may get you to the right party."

I email them for replacement parts for my LnL AP all of the time. Hornady warranty service is EXCELLENT!!! [email protected] tell them what is broken and give them your name, address, and phone number. I also usually give them the serial number of my press incase they need it for whatever reason.
