Hornady TAP ammo.

Does anybody have any experience with Hornady TAP ammo? I have heard a lot of good things about it and ordered 3 boxes of 147gr jhp 9mm.

I use the 200 grain JHP TAP ammo as my daily carry .45 ACP ammo~!

I use the .45ACP +P load (red box). It doesn't seem as hot as Remington Golden Sabre .45ACP +P in terms of muzzle flash. The Remingtons throw a HUGE fireball.

The Hornady's bullets are total metal jacket. I have confirmed this by digging some out of the mound I was shooting at.

I've used the Hornady TAP 9mm 147gr flavor in my CX4 carbine. The carbine loves it and it's got a distinct sound to it when I fire it. Accuracy is excellent in the carbine and my pistols and recoil/flash is great. Just bought another box a few days ago....I think it was $15 for 20 rounds.

Hornady TAP Ammo

I like the TAP ammo, I use it for my .45. Always feeds and functions and I find it to be very accurate from Wilson Combat CQB.
