Just got back, a bit smaller than usual. Tons of AR & AK stuff with prices headed back towards reasonable -- Doublestar stripped lowers for $99, WSAR wood stocks with slant brake $420, and you could find decent ARs for $800 $650 if you don't mind Olympic. Still plenty of over priced stuff on the tables though.

Sales were looked down, but still good, most of the large dealers seemed to have people filling out forms but still had empty chairs available, where back in November it was a two hour wait to fill out the forms!

Best deals overall were probably Colt 6920 LEO carbines for $1050 and Colt 6940 LEO carbines for $1350. Prices on MSAR and SIG 556 seemed pretty good too.

I was looking for the Ruger 556 but only saw two for $1500 and $1490 -- no way I was paying more for a Ruger than I did for my 6940 which I got for $1400 last month :( oh well.

I was frustrated by the lack of 9mm single stack 1911s. Only saw one Springfield, but no way I was gonna pay almost $900 for a gun who's only purpose would be to shoot cheap ammo. Saw plenty of Taurus 1911s in .38Super, why not the the promised 9mm guns instead?

Did pick up some parts and a Ruger LCP .380 for $289.

Based on this show and last months smaller Pasadena show things seem to be getting somewhat close to normal
