How Did You Observe Rev. Jackson's Nationwide Gun Protest

Been sick as a dog, so I thought ahead. I ordered ammo last week. Should be here tomorrow. Not just because of JJ though, but also becaus eof expected price increases. Killed two birds with one shot.

All the best,
GB

Don't call him "reverend." He never finished seminary. He's a phoney, a liar, a thief and extortionist. And those are his good points.

He only protests places he can be paid to leave. Just another zero (actually, he's less than zero: he's a peeled zero) whose desperately looking for some validation.

Sorry, worth repeating.

What has this phoney ever done for the black movement?

Nothing, he just makes sure his face is on camera to make sure his pockets are lined.

I guess I'm gonna go buy a couple hundred more rds of 9mm and some more 30.06 for S's and G's.

I'm starting to wonder if these days are counter-protests, or if everyone is just looking for an excuse to buy a new toy

Bought a Walther P22 - for the express purpose of introducing new shooters, the first off being my friend and her 13 y/o daughter next week.

Bought 1000 rounds of 22, and shot off 300 of them already with the new Walther.

Here in Missouri, we were also celebrating the abolishment of the requirement to obtain a permit to purchase a handgun.

Darn good day.

Joe

I place my order from midwayusa, should be here tomorrow.:D

1) 250 (150) grain Nosler hollow point bullets in 40 S&W
2) 250 (158) grain Nosler hollow point bullets in 357 magnum
3) 1 lb of Blue Dot powder, I bought this at sportsmans warehouse
4) Springfield Armory T-Shirt, black with logo print, very cool.:D
5) Springfield Armory cap, XD on the front, Springfield Armory along the bottom of the bill, again, very cool.:D

I'm a huge fan of the XD series, so this way I can "represent".:D

Transfered the CZ SP-01 since it arrived today, ordered it last Tuesday.
USP_CZ_Blackside_Med.jpg

I then went to the range and shot 200 rounds through it.

In honor of that phoney shakedown specialist and his ilk:barf:, I gave into temptation and bought a Rock Island Tactical 45.
I also want to add that like a previous poster, I committed no acts of violence today -- but, man, a few of these #$%^&*&^%$$** really, really asked for it. Thank God, I have these super-human powers of self-control. :banghead:

What I find interesting is that NONE of the national media outlets covered any of this day of protest.

Did a google news search and only news outlets covering it were Chicago area newspapers and TV.

Democrat run media is still frightened to be openly anti gun these days.

Oh and DSA needs to move the hell outta Ill.

Been quite ill for the last week, so I wasn't able to follow through on my plans to go shoot up a few hundred rounds of .45 in target practice.

I did, however, buy a gun vault, installed it under my bed, loaded my .45, and now I'm going to keep it there. Which to my mind is the best thing that I can do to limit gun violence in my neck of the woods. :D

I'm trying to recall where I heard it, but do ya'll notice (and considering the previous posts that "Rev." JJ didn't finish seminary) that nobody can find the church where he allegedly preaches?

I didn't know there was a protest either. I did however review some ballistic data for handloading .303British and 8mmMauser hunting loads. And this was another day that I didn't shoot anybody either.

About the time it was OVER...I sent one round downrange...a parting shot, as it were...:D

Honestly, I didn't even know it was going on...and don't care.

Mark.

Bought a case of Federal 20ga steel #7 dove loads (hunt public land) can't wait till monday!

Over the weekend I bought for the occassion:

100 rds of .45acp
800 rds of .22lr

and I officially recommissioned a newly repaired handgun that had been broken for a year.

I also went out of my way to drive by the local gunshops over lunch, to ensure they weren't being picketed. If they were, I was going to go in an drop some bux.

"Babbeling preachers, cider and jam, I put a few guns in my hand."

OK. That was bad. I know.

Can anyone show me a reputable source that states he never finished seminary? I have an anti-gun friend who thinks "J.J." is the Lord incarnate :barf:

Personally, rain killed my plans to hit the range, but I bought 3 boxes of 44 mag, a military-style sling, and ordered 2 boxes of 444 Marlin :)

Bought a brick of 550 Federal .22s at Wally World for the Single Six. Assembled 350 rounds of .38+P for my SP101.

As for the Rev. Mr Jackson,
Sic Semper Schm*cks.

Jeff

I got a AK with tapco furniture and a collapsible stock (otherwise know as a barrel shroud, ya know 'the thing that goes up' according to firearms "expert" Ms McCarthy :D). At any rate a fine rifle cant wait to go out to the range with it.

Wife went to the local shop (i'm unemployed at the moment, she has money i don't) and bought 100rds of Fiocchi 9mm 115gr JHP. unfortunately the "protest" fell 3 days short of payday so we got what we could instead of what we'd have preferred
