Find them a good appreciative home or an ocean
Hmmm... I'm in Mass also. Only had to do this once (piece of c**p in FIL's house found after he died). Police no prob - even wanted to come pick it up rather than I bring it in. Didn't care where it came from, never asked for my FID, nada. But that is small-town W.Mass AND only one rusted-out hulk w/ 20% missing.depicts said:Bogie, I don't smell like a penguin (whatever that means )
I do however live in Massachusetts, and trying to figure out how to explain where guns come from in this state makes it kinda, sorta, tough to bring them to the police if you know what I mean.
Friends, trust me, I know enough about guns to have some idea what these are worth, and it isn't even the postage to send them to Biker who would take such good care of them (I've gotten to like Biker's postings)
The idea of giving them to a gunsmith school sounds pretty good, but again, there is the transfer issue and the "where's they come from question.
See my post today about them trying to track bullets in Boston, and you'll see what we're up against here.
I just thought if there was a no questions asked gun buyback program, I could turn in these pieces of crap and maybe get some new sneaks or a walkman

(Later edit...hmmmmmmm...ocean, now why didn't I think of that????)
