I had 600 pounds that my wife got me while I was on a work trip to Australia. I got myself a cheap cast iron pan, a propane heater, some kitchen tools, candles, and a mask rated for lead. Don't forget gloves and safety. Can't let any water drop into molten lead. It will ruin your day. I processed all the lead over more than a few days, all into ingots. Got more than I will ever use. I didn't add anything to the lead other than to just skim off the metal (non lead) and dirt and debris.
