According to a big box retail store, Its taking them awhile, And they are iffy when it comes to its covered or you pay for it, One guy got his scope back with a deep scratch in the tube and scope was still broke, Changed my mind about buying one, Problem was reticles wouldn't move on both scopes
This I agree with. I've sent quite a few scopes to Leopold and they've always fixed them for free. I've never had them try to charge me for repairing anything. Although I have had to send a couple back a second time.I find the box stores story mildly unusual. Leupold repaired a scope I broke by falling on it. replaced damaged parts and did a full systems check. No cost to me.
This I don't agree with. I've had more failures with Leopold scopes than I have with any other single brand. They do have heat customer service though.Leupold puts out very, very few lemons.
