The other one's a preban underfolder like Tamara's above, but it, and the Krinkov kit, are off somewhere getting NFA'd.

2 SKS', love 'em....'cept today the front sight snagged on the bungee cord which was holding it on the front rack of my quad, creating a cluster$#@& which kept me from whacking at least 3 wolves that I coulda thrown rocks at.....DOH!

Someone once told me that AK's and SKS's have a life expectency of only 5,000 rounds, is this true? Serious question, no flames please.

I reckon my ole SKS before I got it probably had incalculable rounds thru it and AK? .. well, unless something breaks, I'd say 50,000 might be nearer a problem ..... !!

Basically, even if barrel degrading, they should just keep on truckin!!
