Wil Terry, can you list all 135 calibers you have when you have time, that is incredible!

Also I didn't count air rifles or handguns or black powder. Doing so would make my total about 54 unique chamberings instead of 51.

Twelve :

.177 (air gun) : 1 single shot pistol
. 22 lR : 1 sa pistol, 2 da revolvers, 2 bolt action rifles
. 25 acp (6.35 mm) : 1 dao pistol
. 32 acp (7.65 mm) : 1 sa pistol
. 380 acp (9 short) : 1 da/sa pistol
. 38 spl : 3 da revolvers
. 357 M : 2 da revolvers
9 x19 mm : 3 pistols ( 2 sa & 1 da/sa)
. 44 spl : 1 da revolver
. 44/40 : 1 lever action carbine
. 45 acp : 1 sa pistol
. 45 LC : 2 sa revolvers

.204 Ruger
.22 LR
.22 Win Mag
.222
.223/5.56 Nato
.25 ACP
7mm-08
7.62x39
.300 Win Mag
.300 WSM
30-30
30-06
.308
.32 ACP
.380 ACP
9mm
.357 Mag
.357 Sig
.40 S&W
.410
.45 ACP
.45 Colt
454 Casull
.50 AE
.50 BMG
20 Gage
16 Gage
12 Gage
10 Gage

I started collecting firearms as an investment but I soon realized that that my ammo collection was worth quite a bit as well, especially as brass has shot up. For example, I got a deal on some 5.56 nato rounds that are worth 4 times what I paid for them, that's almost a 150% compounding annual return; better than any gun that I have ever purchased. My ammo has it's own safe.

Well, now I feel inadequate. Let's see now:

.22LR x1
.22mag x1
.223 x2
30-06 x1
.357mag x2
.40 S&W x1
.444 Marlin x1
.45ACPx5
12 ga x1

The list looks beter written out, but still, I got some buying to do.

Gun collecting has nothing to do with inadequacies. A lot of my guns have come from "collection buyouts" from elderly people. (the BEST source for deals)

I have previously owned and presently own some of these firearm calibers in hand guns and rifles:

9MM

22LR

38Special Plus P

357Magnum

44Magnum/44Special

45Colt aka long colt

30-30

(I do not own a shotgun, I have never owned a shotgun and I do not plan on getting one. I am NOT knocking shotguns. My husband has a shotgun.)

I plan on going to ONLY 2 to 3 Calibers very shortly.

I can't even BEGIN to list how many firearm calibers my husband has unless I write it down, double check his 'list' and gun cabinets.

will soon add .380 / 9mm / .45

I have two long barrelled shotguns for skeet / hunting and one with collapsable stock and dual pistol grip(Sara conners shotgun in Terminator tv show) in 12 gauge for fun at the range. I also have a 18 in 12 gauge for home defense.

I have a 22lr scope and iron sighted for cheap practice and will add a semi and revolver for the reason

I also have a saiga in ak configuaration for range / shtf scenarios and will get and sks to keep them using the same ammo.

I will adopt a .380 as a carry anywhere gun , a 9mm for range and home defense and a .45 because hell, every red blooded american should be issued one at birth
