This is generally a concern of mine as well.

One irony I'm finding is having multiple rifles in the same caliber doesn't seem to help with logistics as much as I'd hoped. In fact it might make it more difficult.

They each have have different loads, so I wind up either adjusting my dies or having a toolhead for each anyway.

Unless I full-length resize everything, I have to keep the brass separated anyway. Even then, the chambers vary quite bit.

I have brass for my 260 Remington that's marked 260 Remington, plus brass marked 243, 7mm-08, and 308. Due to the differences in neck thickness, the 308-marked brass works especially well in some of my rifles and not at all in others.

I've been toying lately with the idea of adding a 243 or 7mm-08 rifle to the stable, but it's got me thinking maybe I'd be better-off with a cartridge that's more significantly different from the 260 Remington.

10 so far. I don't have ammo for 3 of em, and I'm not really worried about it. I have less than 100 rounds for all other calibers... most below 30 rounds. I have more ammo in the calibers of my hunting arms, less in the plinkers.. almost negligent in sd/hd and handgun ammo.

HAHAHAHA - just reading through this... I have already answered once... now twice...... I'm having a senior moment Add a .177 pellet as well.
