How many extra magazines you carry around with you for your concealed carry weapon?

Please state:
1. Your CCW
2. How many extra magazines you carry
3. Rounds held in the magazine
4. Type of magazine holster
5. Where you wear the magazine on your person

Thanks!
Kevin

All depends on what gun I carry. If it is the Glock 23 I usually won't carry a spare mag as with the extended mags I have I carry 16 rounds of 40cal is a lot of firepower. Now for my BUG, which is a 380 NAA Guardian, or a 32acp version I will usually carry ywo extra mags (12 rounds) of ammo. If I need more rounds than this I didn't belong drawing my weapon in the first place!!

If I had the abality to conceal the gun and spare mags I'd be carrying a bigger gun instead!

Depends on the gun. With my 1911 i carry two, 1 horizontal in the front, 1 on my weakside. With the Glock i carry one horizontal in front.

1. Most often used CCWs: Kahr PM9 ("stick in a pocket" or "always" gun); S&W M&P compact 9mm (holster gun for longer durations)

2. One spare magazine.

3. The Kahr holds seven, the M&P twelve.

4. A leather clip-on or snap loop pouch, open-topped.

5. On the belt, opposite the gun.

Please state:

1. Your CCW: Baer Stinger 1911 .45ACP

2. How many extra magazines you carry: 1

3. Rounds held in the magazine: 7

4. Type of magazine holster: Milt Sparks combination 6P and magazine holster.

5. Where you wear the magazine on your person:

I wear my CCW at 3:30 in a Sparks VMII and I wear the mag holder at 8:30

this is gonna take while and I don't carry all these at once
seecamp in LF pocket in desantis nemisis 1 mag 6 rounds in pocket behind holster laying horizontal.
S&W 442 in LF pocket in uncle mikes pocket holster 1 speed loader 5 rounds in bottom of pocket behind holster.
AMT backup 45 LF pocket in nemisis 2 mags 5 rounds in a case made for playstation memory cards in LR pocket or in uncle mikes fanny pack.
Tauri 605 in bianchi pro 100 IWB at 4 o'clock 1 bianchi speed strip 5 rounds in LR pocket.
HK p7psp in bianchi pro 100 IWB at 4 o'clock 1 mag 8 rounds in nemisis mag holder in LR pocket
Tauri 905 in uncle mikes pocket holster velcroed in place in uncle mikes fanny pack, 2 moon clips 5 rounds in medacine bottle in pouch of pack.
most of the time I either carry the HK or the 442, the seecamp is for when I'm not suposed to carry or backup to the HK.I sometimes carry the 605 and 442 together.I carry the fanny pack only when wearing gym shorts or swimsuit.if there's water involved its the AMT.

1. Ruger P95 / KelTec P3AT

2. I carry one extra magazine on my belt maybe 5% of the time for the Ruger. The rest of the time it's in the console in the truck. I don't even have an extra magazine for the KelTec.

3. Ruger 15 rounds, KelTec 6 rounds

4. Nylon with velcro flap and metal belt clip

5. I carry my Ruger at 4:00, magazine at 8:00

I usually carry one primary gun in 9mm or .45 with no spare mag. I carry a .32 BUG rather than a spare mag.

I carry 1 extra mag with my G19 or G26. The police will arive before I'll need to use 20 or 30 rounds.

For me, it works like this:

ccw- S&W Tactical (.45) DAO
Extra mags-1...sometimes 2
# of rounds-6 round mags
carry method- front pocket (right), or leather pouch.
where on my person- right pocket or on belt.

Never had to use this at all.

Mark.

I carry a Bersa Thunder 9 Ultracompact.
I carry one extra mag from a Bersa Thunder 9 Fullsize.
The UC mag is 13 and the FS mag is 17.
Mag holster is from Graham custom leather.
I wear the mag holster on my left hip, just behind the belt loop.

During winter carry utilizing shoulder rigs that have the opposite 2-mag pouch, I will balance the rig with full mags (it does help). Otherwise, with pocket or OWB carry: NONE....:)
