How many handguns do you have?

Your problem is common, which is why I adopted a strict “Don’t Ask - Don’t Tell” policy years ago.

I DON’T ASK FOR PERMISSION & I DON’T TELL WHAT I”VE DONE

BTW, if you know how many you have, you don’t have enough.

More than I need, but not as many as I want!

Ditto. Total count is down one with the most recent aquisition by trade, but the collection is improved.

Unfortunately the old argument comparing a wife/girlfriend/signifigant other's impossibly large shoe collection to a beautiful collection of fine arms that bring joy to our lives never seems to work.

I didn't feel so bad about my gun habit once I found out that the guy who shares my office/shop area with has 20 Grand worth of pipes (the smoking kind).

3 so far. 3 more that I plan on adding come hell or high water. About a dozen more on top of that in the "if I win the lottery some day" category.

i forgot about the little derringer that i got as a gift last week so that is 4 handguns, and 5 by the time tax return comes.

7 S&W Revolvers
2 Ruger SA's
3 Glocks
2 mini Autos
2 Derringers
2 1911's
1 Makarov
2 taurus Snubbies

And probably some that don't come to mind right now.

You can't have too many if you enjoy them and can fit them into your budget.

Something around 20. Haven't counted, lately, to be honest. Got an almost equal number of long guns. I can tell you this, I don't have enough!:D

My wife don't care what toys I buy, life's too short. We're retired now and, I mean, we can't take it with us, right? We've been happily married for almost 25 years, now. If she did care, I just wouldn't tell here when I bought something since she can't tell one gun from another anyway. Heck, I've got 6 motorcycles, she don't care about that either. :D They cost a little more than guns, though I could spend that much if I were into 1911s I guess. I like affordable guns, you know, the kinds the snobs wouldn't own. I suppose my most expensive handgun is a Ruger Blackhawk, stainless .45 Colt. It wasn't that expensive except for having $250 worth of engraving done to it and stocking it with Sanbar Stag grips. I partial traded a Rossi M971 for the gun, didn't boot a lot of money, so the engraving alone cost more than the gun did. But, I WANTED IT! Can't take it with ya.

My household has a 1 gun a year policy... Meaning that I wait till income tax comes before I buy a new one... Purely economical reasons of course... I may even have to pass this year on my firearm to get an Eotech for the Bushy.

Under ten & with a New Years's resolution to my "better-half"; will weed them out to five during the next 3 months...Maybe she'll forget by then....:D

Only 1 here. Just turned 21 a few months ago, being in school I cant afford to buy any more, plus I am saving up for mod my current guns before buying more.

More than I need

21 handguns, counting 3 blackpowder and 2 CO2/BB

10 long guns, including 3 BP

and a BP mortar, 2-pounder / 57mm.

two,

both 9mm. P228 and HK P2000. I do not feel the need nor want for more at this point. Will eventually expand my collections but so far I am content.
