How many of you out there with Conceal Carry Weapon Permits have one gun for home

I have three BHP's in .40, one of them always stays in the nightstand.

Edited to add:
I also have other carry guns that I have with me on occasion, but the BHP's have been around the longest.

I have a S&W M&P .45 Compact for daily carry along with a AMT .380 DAO in an ankle holster depending on clothing. Sig 220R and Winchester shotgun for HD. Thinking about the new Beretta P4 .40 subcompact?

My regular carry guns are either a Radom P64 in my right front pocket in a DeSantis Superfly that I modified to add a mag holder or a Taurus 24/7 Pro Compact .45 in a Supertuck. My wife keeps a J-frame with CT grips in the nightstand on her side, I keep a FNP-9M with night sights and two extra mags under the bed on my side. My side of the bed is to the wall so I wanted to be able to roll out of bed (away from the bedroom door) and be able to use the bed for concealment while coming up with the FNP. My walk-in closet in the Master Suite holds an 870 Police Magnum and a Five-Seven, and the Taurus is also stored in there when I’m not wearing it. I also keep a Makarov hidden near the entrance to the foyer in case I’m on the other end of the house. That about covers it for the ones I keep loaded…

There is no reason to limit yourself for your at home handgun the way you must when you carry concealed.

I have a multitude of choices for carry, usually have one of the larger ones loaded in the bedroom and carry what I carry that day. Nothing in the car unless I'm in it with my carry gun. I ride a motorcycle a lot and have a van AND a car. But, my carry weaopn is on me all the time no matter what I'm driving/riding.

Same in or out

The item I now own is for both HD and CC. The item I seek to obtain will be both HD and CC. Rationale: I want to be completely familiar with one piece, so that using it will always be the same. DD, CC, hunting - one piece, like it's a part of me.

For a "home" gun I use a 12 gague shotgun with #4 buck, thats kinda hard to carry. But for walk around and travel I carry a 5 shot 38 relvolver as a primary and a Kel-Tec P32 as my back up.

I have 1 hand-gun (sp-101)which is my carry gun.It plays back-up to my 2 shot-guns (rem.870 & mossy 835)for home defence.

My Taurus PT709 Slim(9mm) is my EDC and HD gun. It is on me or close with-in reach in my home and goes with me in the truck. The exception is when I'm hiking, going to the wilderness or if s*** was to hit the fan, I carry a Glock 30(.45ACP). I keep the G30 ready to go but it is locked in the safe so I don't plan on it for any first line or quick defense.

I don't have dedicated home defense handguns. I use an XD9 subcompact for everything: carry, car, home defense, and range fun. But I do have two of them.

If I have my pants on I'm carrying a sp101 Ruger 357 in my belt. There are three S&W 38 chief specials in the house in various locations. A Mossberg 500 w/PG hanging on the door knob of the door between me and the outside doors. When riding my Motorcycle I also carry a Bond Arms Derringer 45/410 in a shoulder holster.

I keep loaded weapons thru out my home, as well as one in my vehicle, as well as one either on my hip or in my pocket. Carry guns depending on the way I dress a Smith & wesson 360PD or a Kimber Ultra Raptor, my latest car gun is a Charter Arms Bull Dog Pug 44spec, It took a while for it to prove its reliability.

Colt 70 series commander in one bedside table, Beretta 84b in the other bedside table, S&W 39 at the front door, Sig 230 at the back door, Marlin 357 and 44 Mag lever acton rifle in the hallway, Ruger 10-22 in the office and, Oh yeah, Glock 23 in my carry holster and Keltec 9 in the wife's purse. There are also 15 other handguns in the safe along with more rifles and shotguns. You are not paranoid if someone is out to get you.

Out and about, Ruger LCP IWB
Downstairs office: Colt Mark IV Series 70 and/or Mossberg 500A with 18.5" barrel are both readily available
Bedroom Sig P226 .40

SIG P220 or FS92 stainless carry. Remington-Browning 12 loaded with 00, with a VERY short barrel for home, along with a S&W snubby on the night stand. For a home invasion, especially with multiple bad guys, an old FBI firearm guy told me it was his personal choice for home defense. Just make sure you know where all the significant others are when you pull it out and have them stay put.

The handgun is for concealed carry. In the home concealment is no longer an imperative, so the long gun should be utilized if at all possible.

I have a primary home defense handgun that is different than my off-duty/carry gun. The primary house gun is a Beretta M9A1 with Trijicon night sights, a tactical light, and a 20 round magazine. My wife's S&W 431PD with Crimson Trace grips is generally right next to it, so that is available for use also. I carry a NAA .22 Magnum mini revolver with a XS front night sight and a folding holster grip on my person all the time when I am home and awake, so that is available. My primary carry gun, a DAO SP101, is also available, though I don't carry it around the house. My on and off-duty BUG, a S&W Airweight, is available, though again not carried on my person around the house. I don't keep any loaded long guns in the house and my issued duty weapon stays in my locker at the PD since I don't carry it off-duty.
The NAA Mini .22 Mag has sights? Is it a Mini Master or a Black Widow?

When on a motorcycle do you change types of loads because you may encounter situations where you have to shoot through car doors & windows? If so which loads/bullet type?
