I don't keep track. I reload my own .45 range ammo so I would say 10k , A ton of AK ammo. about 1000 rounds of .308 and a few hundred each in 8mm, 7.62.25, 7mm and 6.5x55

rokman,
welcome to THR

everyone else there seems to be alot of shooting going on, that is exactly what i like to see and hear! :)

Really depends...but this year I'm on a 10,000 round pace, give or take. Couple years ago, I did ALOT more than that, last year a bit less....like I said, it'll depend :D

I've just come to the end of my first year of gun ownership so I pulled out my notes and here are the totals.

Handgun
9mm - 8527
.38 Spec - 116
.22 - 4611

Rifle
7.62x54r - 84
7.62x39 - 914

Total Handgun - 13,254
Total Rifle - 998

i only get to shot 3-4 months out of the year (when im home on college break) but my club is less than 2 miles from my house. i probably throw 7-9k

wish it could be more. maybe after school when both time and money are more plentiful.

6000-7000 handgun, mostly 9 and 45,well mostly 9 lately. Man this hobby gets expensive, but I try to shoot 200-300 rounds every other week. I just tell Mrs. 2TA that I can't put a price on her safety.

I woulda guessed around 3000 rifle rounds last year, but since my range closed I've had the AR out once this year, and just dinked around with the .22 out in the woods a bit.:(

using a primer count last year i went through 15,000 small pistol std 15,000 large pistol std 3000 lg pistol mags 3000 small pistol mags 3000 small rifle and a few hundred assorted large rifle. Just figured it out and it averages about 100 rounds a day. You got to keep in mind that im at the range almost daily. Its almost in my back yard and weekends im there most of the day if the weather cooperates and i have an heated shack there to shoot out of in the winter. Sitting here laughing at myself. Youd think id be a much better shot! Thank god for star sizers dillon presses casting bullets and my bullet trap or this would get real expensive.

About 100-150 rds. of handgun a week. Dosen't sound like much until you remember 52 weeks in a year..........Essex

Shootin'

Today it went to 1,064 rounds this week, and goin' back tomorrow for another 532! (I know...Rough job, but somebody's gotta.):D

4 pistols...72 magazines...7 rounds per mag...1 mag fulla jackted hardball to clean out the lead. (Yes. I load 72 mags the night before. No. I don't buy into the lead gettin' mashed into the pores thing.)

Chitty-Chitty, Bang Bang!

Cheers

And Counting

6,000+ since I bought my first handgun 1 year ago. I now have a dozen. 400 rounds through my 12 gauge.

10,000 rounds per year +/-, mostly handguns with handloads.

When I was shooting IPSC hot and heavy about twice that.

Just my .02,
LeonCarr

I was shooting about 3-4k per year but my daughter decided that shooting with the old man was pretty cool so we're burning about 300-400 rounds per week. (last 4 months) That's going to put me up around 12-14k per year. The scary thing is that I'm going to have to start practicing between our friday sessions so she doesn't get better than me. Life just isn't fair. :)

Looking at my records for the last decade,

A good year about 20,000 rnds, 80% handgun.
A bad year about 10,000 rnds, 60% handgun.

You have to have trigger time to get "ok".

I shoot about 25-30k rounds a year. A lot of that is .22LR though. A couple thousand is black powder and the rest is pretty evenly divided between handgun and rifle. I don't shoot the shotguns nearly enough. Sure is a costly hobby!

About 6,500 rds for my handguns....500 rds through my M-1 carbine....:)
Being on a tight budget, cannot afford much more.....However, I enjoy every "squeeze".. I try to make each shot "count"....
