How many magazines do you own for your pistols?

Depends on the gun.

Four at minimum for recreational guns. For guns in self defense rotation, a minimum of 12. I have as many as 26 magazines for two handguns of one particular model.

I keep three magazines loaded per SD gun and rotate them every three months. For a couple of guns, I have several magazines specifically for range use and others for more serious business.

It varies pretty wildly. For guns that I shoot more I have more mags (with the exception of the .22 - I shoot it all the time and only have 1), but I'm not one to worry about keeping a ton of them.

Ruger Std .22LR - 1 mag
Makarov - 1 mag
Hi-Point C9 - 1 mag
CZ-82 - 2 mags
CZ-52 - 2 mags
M57 Yugo Tokarev - 2 mags
Ruger LCP - 2 mags
SIG P6 - 2 mags
Walther P1 - 5 mags
Ruger P95 - 6 mags
S&W M&P - 7 mags

I have like... a dozen for my Hi-power clone (I bought those when I was doing IDPA monthly). My others it's 2-5. I need a few more 1911 mags. Though 1911 mags transfer easily between guns.

My mouse guns only have one or two!

I try to have at least 4 to 6 spare mags per pistol. I probably have the most with my M1911's while some of my newest aquisitions only have 2 or 3 mags. Definitely something I need to stock up on when I get the chance.

1911- 5 magazines
M&P- 5 magazines
Mk III- 5 magazines

I'd guess the average for my 3 pistols is...5 magazines.
