I hadn't really thought about it until recently I did the math. Years ago I had a used Reminton Wingmaster that I used for trap, sporting clays and hunting.
At least 10 boxes every Thursay night for 4+ years of trap, sometimes more, plus sporting clays, plus some skeet, plus the occasional Turkey shoot and hunt...I was surprised that I put over 48,000 shells thru the thing, most of them reloads.
I wonder if my new/used Mossy 500 would hold together for 50,000 rounds?

I had purchased two 55 gallon cardboard barrels full of 2 3/4" high brass Winchester AA brass 12ga. No I am not kidding. I reloaded every round at least twice. So thousands of rounds through my 870 wingmasters. That does not include the hundreds of rounds through my 28 ga and 20 ga wingmasters.

I have never loaded for a 20 ga. The 28 ga I had two flats of shells and the were reloaded so many times the hulls would split. So 7-8 loads each. I am on my second two flats of 28 ga Winchester AA high brass with some of them showing signs of wearing out.

More than most, but nearly as much as some. I've had my shotgun for about 3 years and probably have about 2000 rounds through it. i don't shoot weekly like some, just a few times a year with friends out in the country somewhere. When I do shoot, I shoot a couple hundred if I can.
