How much are classes for concealed carry for you?

The 16 hour class was $85 plus $50 to the DPS.

I know a guy who has been carrying concealed without a permit since 1989. I told him that getting caught could mean six months in jail. He said "carrying concealed means nobody knows, so how would I get caught?". I guess some folks just like pushing their luck.

Wow, we have it pretty good in our "shall issue" state, Oregon.

$25 for a four hour class is what I paid. Four hours well spent. I still think of the teacher and his message to this day. That really means you learned something. The guy teaches marshall arts too, and I'm really thinking about getting into that type of training, for getting back in shape, a new discipline and just something to do after work.

Getting ready to plunk down $65 to the state of Washington, so I can carry there as well. Then, I'll be good in several states.

I paid $70.00 and that was for everything. Finger prints, photos, notery service at the end of the class, all I had to do was put the check($140.00 for the license) in the envelope.

While Oregon is a shall issue state.

You must take and pass a class before you can be issued a CHL (concealed handgun license) for your first license. The one I took ten years ago cost $60.00 for a 16 hour class. I thought it was excellent and three out of sixteen did not pass and were not given their CHL. Good shooting;)
