Humor is allowed, name calling is not. Language like that will cause this post to be closed. A better come back might be” Unlike the Rugers, Glock’s have never been recalled. :) ” Take a breath and relax.

Man, some of you people are truly wasting everyone's time...

Just address the question or move on.

Anyway, A new Glock around here runs for abour $459 and up for a Stock Glock. A few other had the suggestions about how to get the discounts, I suggest looking into those, especialy joining the GSSF, just for the shoots, and they are fun, and there is an Armorer on site at all of the shoots to work on you Glock free. If you can't get a good deal locally, buy online, and find a resonable transfer dealer. Unless you NEED night sights, don't get them, you can put them on later if you want, as well as other optional parts. They truly are a simple gun to work on.

Don't believe the Glock haters, every gun has problems, and from experience, Glock has much less problems than others.

And for the stupid comments on Glocks exploding, it simply isn't true...BAD ammo causes Glocks, and other guns to explode, not the quality of gun manufacture. Good luck.

Buy what YOU want, and what makes you happy....

Neither is trolling, Blue Brick.

To the OP: $600 is too high. Online purchase, with transfer through an FFL, is typically going to get you the best price. It's not difficult; just make sure the dealer ships the weapon with the fired case. You can find an FFL here and here.

I wasn’t trolling or picking a fight. I thought most of us her were adults and could accept some friendly banter. The question was “how much should it cost”, not “how much is it?” I couldn’t resist poking fun. Besides on almost every posting here some Glock lover puts their 2 cents in and recommends a Glock. Ammunition is not the problem, an unsupported chamber is. A manufacture should design their product beyond the recommended tolerances. For example: A Ruger P-85 barrel’s was plugged with a Steel rod and fired with military high-pressure M882 ammunition and the only damage was bent extractor that separated from the slide as the case was removed from the chamber. One P-85 had its entire right side of the ejection port removed and 2,000 rounds of M882 ammunition were fired with no signs of stress. The pistol was then subjected to 3,000 rounds of M882 ammunition. During both sessions the pistol was not disassembled or cleaned and was not allowed to cool during firing. At 1,000 round intervals the pistol was examined for slide fractures. After 5,000 rounds no damage was observed. That being said, the P85 and SR9 have been recalled. And P345 has had a design change to the firing pin. As far as I know a Glock has never been recalled . Don’t take things so seriously. :)

Just like a child can't resist touching a hot stove?

Glocks have been recalled, fyi. The first year glock 36's were introduced, they had a major recall.

I paid $499 for a new base model od green G26 at small gun shop in Canton TX. Any other place in a 50 mile radius like Wulf, Bass Pro, or Gander Mnt. they are $600+. A used one at any of the local pawn shops will cost you $450+, and you will be lucky if the gun comes with one mag much less the box, paperwork, lock, loader, and a second mag. You might can find a good used one on gunbroker.com for around $400+ all of the transfer/shipping fees.

I paid $519+tax for one earlier this week at a local gun store (Green Top). I probably could have gotten it $20 less at a different gun store a few miles away (DeGoffs), but I didn't feel like driving the extra distance.

The Gander Mountain across the street had the same gun for $599. And they wonder why they don't sell many guns...
