I can't fit in my gun safe. Too many guns in the way.

Whether it is good or bad, I leave the stuff I carry or use frequently out of the safe. I seldom even look in the safe. The truth is I have guns that I have not handled or layed eyes on in 5 years.
Wow.
I guess I have guns I haven't fired in that long, and if I had stuck them in the back of a safe...and hadn't moved in the last 5 years...I may not have handled them.

A few times a day. I try to make a conscious effort to go in my safe as little as possible to prevent moisture build up as I don't have an active moisture control. Silicia gel is considered passive.

Warp, I misplaced a Weatherby Mark XXII 22 rifle for about 10 years once. I wasn't shooting it and was moving around a lot. When things settled down, I was not sure where it was. The fact is I couldn't believe that I didn't have it in my house and I turned the place upside down looking for it when I finally decided I wanted to wipe it down and shoot it. Eventually, found it at my Dad's tucked way back in his hiding place (in perfect condition still). It is the kind of place that if he sold the house, you might forget to take it out. He was in his 80's and was not going to go digging for it on my behalf. I had to make the 500 mile trip to locate it.

Very rarely. Maybe once a year or two or so. gotta average it out.. they are "safe".. knock on wood and all like that. no need to eyeball them
Nearly every day...weekly for sure. Sure I keep 2 sidearms out at all times my EDC and its back-up; but I pop the safe open at least once on the weekends and if there's a piece I haven't used in a while, it gets pulled for at least a wipe down or cleaning.

Our kids & grandkids have found a cheap safe deposit box---I have to check it everyday to make sure that it is locked. They have also found a great free gun & ammo shop---wow am I lucky.------

On average probably once a week.
As often as I need to. Sometimes I am shooting every week, sometimes when I am busy with other activities it is once a month. I open the safe to get the guns out and put them back. Sometimes I open the safe just to look at them or oil them but certainly not often.

I have a safe, but I don't keep my guns in it, anymore. Just documents. And I leave it unlocked, so if anyone looks in there, they'll leave it alone and steal my guns, instead.
I used to be paranoid that I'd be responsible for letting a "bad guy" get a firearm. But I don't consider that my responsibility, anymore, beyond locking my doors.

I'm never in the safe, because I don't have one. However, if I did, I imagine I'd probably be in there pretty often for various reasons.

Some days several times and then other days not so much. It all depends how busy I am with other activities and late I worked the night before.
