Tamara or Xavier?

For me, I guess I have to give the edge to Tamara in terms of "how often," as she usually posts several shorter things each day while Xavier tends to post something longer every day or every other day.

If you haven't checked them out before, they're definitely worth your time!

None. I'm curious - what is the appeal of blogs? Whenever I've read one it just screams "PAY ATTENTION TO ME!"

Dope

I read Xavier's religiously. I find it ALWAYS well done, informative, entertaining and anything BUT "hey, look at me". Xavier does a great job with many subjects and his blog is a well worthwhile place for anyone to spend a few minutes. I was not aware of Tamara's site, but I'll certainly visit it.

sm issues a response to the question fielded

Now that's a blog!

Don't tell me a dumb old southern boy publik skooled cannot play this political critter game
*yep*

Seriously, I read them all the same....

Tamara, Xavier, Marko, LawDog, Mad Ogre, Expert Witness, Holly, Matt, Larry, Peter, SuperNaut, Geek, Don, and others from THR/TFL.

Then I read Fred On Everything and other places as well.

Re: Bikini Picture.

Tamara wins.

Xavier, no offense dude, but I really do not think you gotta chance against Tam wearing a bikini.

Re: Pawn Shops.

Xavier wins.

I mean the boy can smell a good deal 4 blocks away with Shrimp Gumbo wafting in the air.

Is is all Good. I suggest folks check out the blog roll at Tam's and XB's and expand your horizons.

Bloggers, I want points for starting up Tam's Bikini Pics again on your blogs...

Oh, anybody got any idea where I can hide with good cover from Tam now?

*in twouble again*

Xavier
Kim du Toit
Bayou Renaissance Man
Lawdog
American Thinker
The Munchkin Wrangler
Front Sight Press

I read most of these on a regular basis, a couple of times a week. Xavier I read daily and I am more apt to feel like something is missing when he is unable to post. I can never remember his screaming 'pay attention to me', or any of the others for that matter. I'm sure there are blogs like that out there, I just don't bother with them.

I read Tamara's blog most- only partially because she posts more than my other friends.

Start at http://thelawdogfiles.blogspot.com first each day to see what's new there. Then use the links on the side of his page to open tabs for Breda, Squeaky, Brigid, Xavier, and Tamara in that order. I do it in that order because that way I've read and closed the rest by the time I get to Tamara's blog. She invariably has one or more interesting links worth opening and reading in separate tabs and reading the other aforementioned bloggers first leaves my screen clear to follow Tam's hyperlinks wherever she may lead me.

SM: Link, or it didn't happen.

Oh it happened all right, yes indeed!

Now I could post the link, but I am not going to do so.

No, that would be too easy.
Instead, there is a wealth of great information on various blogs mentioned in this thread, and it would be a shame for folks to just click a link, see a picture, and never spend the time gleaning information from these blogs.

I happen to have a lot of respect for a lot of THR, TFL , Sister Site members and other folks that put in the time and energy to share with us all, including Bloggers, to do that.

Hang on-

Tamara,
Ma'am, I apologize publicly to you for bringing this back up.
Sincerely,
Steve

*neat huh?*

My role around here is being rebel, outlaw, and desperado. It says so in fine print on the back of that plank I got.

Basically I stir stuff up and stay in trouble a lot. It is tough job, but somebody had to do it, and I gots experiences and qualifications.

I mean I ain't ever seen a Site-Meter get blowed up, and , well, if you folks will all get busy and start hitting all the blogs mentioned in this thread looking for Tamara in a Bikini, well all them blogs are going to get hits on their Site-Meter.

<taps head> *smart huh*

I mean, I mean I wanna see site meters getting hits until they start getting blowed up.

Well, don't just sit there, get busy hitting them blogs!

Use Enough Hits

Steve

There are so many to choose from these days. I read both Tam and Xavier daily. Lawdog isn't really a gun blog, but its definitely worth reading. There are tons of rights/activism/politics related blogs out there, as well as a few "pure" gun blogs.

SayUncle is usually a good bet because he sifts through all of the gun blogs and just posts the good stuff. Snowflakes in Hell is the place I go for the lastest news on gun rights and activism.

None. I'm curious - what is the appeal of blogs?
I'm curious also. There is no appeal to me at all.
For giggles, I went to Tamara blog just now. It's like any other blog I've visited and nothing I'd visit again.
I honestly don't know where folks find the time to spend online reading this stuff. Or I guess it would be "make the time". I've too many other things to do, people to meet, places to be, guns to shoot. Besides, if I have that kind of spare time to spend, I'd rather curl up with a good sci-fi book than a laptop & a blog.
