How often do you get to the range?

So how often do you actually get to the range and have fun with your guns? I try to go at least two or three times a month, sometimes more. Just wondering.

Let's see...I live 5 miles from my shooting club and have unlimited use thereof. I have been 37 times since Nov. 1, shooting my reloads.

I'm lucky if I get to shoot my pistols a few times a year. I don't have a range membership, so I'm at the mercy of friends who do. Being in college doesn't help either. Hard to find time.

As far as shotguns go, when I was at the height of my competitive shooting, I'd be at the range 3 times a week (and more if it was open more than Wed, Sat, Sun). Going to college made me stop that too... couldn't get excused absences to compete. I'd fail all of my courses from just two matches.

The range is in my back yard, so I get to the range a number of times every day.

I shoot on the range about five times a week.

I shoot a couple a times a week just for giggles, nothing formal. I just have to walk out my side door and the range is right there. Teaching my twin boys and their sister to shoot. :O)

In my free pistol competition days I was at the range almost daily. Having an indoor range a few miles away (with an affordable annual membership rate) really helped.

Now I mostly busy myself with big bore rifles and muzzleloaders, and the nearest range that allows that sort of thing is an hour away. Combined with raising two young children, I'm lucky if I can get out once a month or so.

I'm in the same boat as telekinesis, i went twice in january but it was my bday so i treated myself, during the semester id be lucky to go 2 or 3 times, sumertimes different though at least once a week!

I can't imagine how nice it would be, having my own range out in the back forty.

As it is, I go to the range 2-3 times per week, not counting matches.

My back yard is separated by a fence from my 80 acre pasture that dips down to a woods and creek bed, thus: my back yard IS my range. I am very fortunate to be able to shoot whenever the feeling strikes me.

Not nearly as often as I'd like. I voted once a month, but for the last few months, that's an optimistic thought too. I'm taking 17 credit hours this semester, so there's not a lot of time for hobbies.

I go out and shoot around twice a week nowadays but when I was overseeing the range, it was double that amount. Last week, I shot on four different days, the most in a couple of years.

I voted "twice per month" but it varies...sometimes once per week (which I would prefer to maintain) to once a month...but on average, as accurate as I can choose.

But, the fun part is driving about five minutes from the range to the river, where targets can be knocked forty feet into the air or shattered, standing twenty feet above a long sand bar.

This is a relief after the structured procedures of watching green holes appear in paper, although much more beneficial for modest skill.

Standing thirty feet off to the side and waiting fifteen minutes for some of the older retired guys to notice that somebody else has arrived (to set up a target), is still frustrating and sometimes I never park my car. I just drive over to the river where you must be aware of your surroundings.

Im a member of two ranges one thats indoors and only 5 miles from my home and one thats outdoors for long ranges but its about 25 miles away
I tend to go to the indoor range once or twice a week to shoot and once weather warms up I try and make a trip or two a month to the outdoor range on top of that
so winter i tend 6-12 times a month summer alot more

I shoot trap at least twice a week in the summer and take rifles/handguns at least two more days. The range is about 2 miles from here but in the winter they don't plow down to the 100 yard range so you have to carry all your crap about 200 yards from the parking lot if you want to shoot. Winter here is nasty so I guess, in short, I get to the range in the winter as often as weather permits.

Step out the back door. Walk 50 ft. to the gate and you're on my range. I shoot upwards to three to four times a week when the weather's good and I'm in a shootin' mood...which is like almost every other day

I voted for 2 times a month....Though sometimes not even that. I don't have time much anymore and don't go half as much as I'd like. Plus the kid on the way has got me strapped for cash . As soon as my dad finishes his range this should change for me though.
