How to carry colt?

I just took possession of a colt mark4 series 80 government model in .380. If i want to make this a carry gun do i carry cocked and locked, hammer down on loaded chamber, or chamber empty? By the way this thing is unfired, maybe make it a safe queen?

Personaly, I would'nt carry a .380 unless it's a backup or very small like a Kel-Tec. I say Safe Queen. Keep the value.

Has orignal box and papers. This wouldn't be a primary ccw.
