I'm trying to sight in my .22 rifle, but the only range available nearby is a 25 yard indoor range. I'm using a Walther 45mm red dot scope(no magnification), and I plan to use it to hunt squirrel, rabbit, crow, and other small game. I'm not certain, but I don't think that a .22 trajectory has peaked yet at 25 yards, so I think I should sight it a bit high, but I don't know how much. I anticipate my average shot will be 50 yards. So how do i sight it in for 50 yards using a 25 yard range?

If you can, sight it in at a slightly shorter range. I like to zero at 50 feet, which puts me about an inch high, at mid range and dead on at 75 yards. If you sight to shoot dead on around 60 to 65 feet, you should get your 50 yard zero.
