How to stop Blackhawk loading gate flying open with heavy loads

Title says it pretty much.

Is there a fix for this? It doesn't open far enough to stop the gun, but it's not good in my eyes.

On the old type Rugers, you could put in a new spring, but that is not an option on the new ones. You can call Ruger for suggestions/advice, but one way to fix the problem would be to reduce your loads. Some folks think that Rugers are so strong nothing can damage them. Not true, and that loading gate may be trying to tell you something.

so jim.... is ruger doing something differant with the new blackhawks? i thought they were all the same,,,,is the load gate and bolt return spring differant on the new guns?? just curious,,,, i would think that the load gate spring may be cracked.... just my .02
