Guns are such a non issue in my area. I work in IT/Telecommunications. I'm the only one who carries in the office at the moment. We've had other employee's who carried in the past. Occasionally we have company shoots. Last time we just went to an indoor range on lunch and rented a few lanes. Our former secretary mentioned once, when me and another brought in our AK's and AR's for everyone to play with (no ammo around), that it made her nervous to see our big guns:D.

I can legally carry at work but it is against company policy, so I would expect to be fired if I carried it into the office and it was discovered. There is no policy about having it in the car at the office.

I guess I'm lucky.

I live in Texas, and have my CHL. I can carry at home, in the car, in a restaurant, and most everywhere else.

I work for a small business (about 40 employees) and the owner is very gun friendly. Every now and then, he will bring in a problem gun for me to fix up for him. usually a good cleaning and lube gets them going.

I'll sit right there at my toolbox in front of anybody that cares to look and take care of it for him.

The General Manager (Owner's Daughter) knows I carry, and knows that there are at least four others besides myself that are licensed and carrying.

Her words on the subject? "If folks are going to be pulling out guns, I want some of them on my side!"

Fair enough. I couldn't ask for a better situation.

I carry about 75 hours a week, it is against work policy (but not illegal)or me to carry at work, if I'm awake and not legally encumbered and not at work I'm carrying.

I've stopped asking people how long they have had their CWL and ask how many hours they've carried instead.

My boss doesn't care if I carry. We're hard at work trying to get my predecessor in my position thrown in jail. He's already a convicted felon, so who knows if he might show up and try something. Nobody'll cry any tears if he leaves feet first if he does. The same guy owns the building we work in and the one next door. At one time the other building was posted, until they had a problem with a guy with a gun. Right after that, the signs came down. I'd bet money the landlord has his CCW now. Our building was never posted.
